Passage through the Elements: 4th & 5th grade girls
Our girls groups offer long-form
and community-building experiences
facilitated by licensed educators
and trained mental health professionals.
We offer a soft, curious, creative, weird, and playful
landing place for pre-adolescent & adolescent
girls to circle up & show up
to what is real and ever-unfolding.
This after-school program runs in three 10-week cohorts, fall, winter and spring meeting at Lajja Space on Wednesdays 4:30-6:30.
Over the course of the school year, we journey through the four elements as we explore community, craft, song, nature connection, expressive arts and emotional & social skill building.
The curriculum builds, and we culminate with a beach day celebration & ceremony
for anyone who has joined any of the cohorts throughout the year. Perfect for the pre-adolescent to land into herself as she prepares to cross the threshold into adolescence.
Cohorts include parent integration sessions as well…we are here to support the nuclear family and honor parents as a vital part of this process.
