Kirtan with Kana and Hanu

Come gather in singing sacred names and shared devotion. Kīrtan is a joyful, heart opening call and response chanting practice that uplifts the spirit, invites connection within ourselves, with each other and with the divine. All voices welcome, exactly as you are, no experience needed.

Based in Portland, Kana Hattori is a devotional singer and kīrtan leader who offers this practice as a path of joy, bliss, devotion and deep emotional honesty from lived experience and deep gratitude.

Rooted in Bhakti, guided by heart, her offerings invite others to connect deeply within themselves, with each other and with the sacred.

Hanu is a non-traditional kirtanist who will offer some heart songs; these are songs that connect us to the divine within and around us.
